I graduated from the University of British Columbia with a major in Asian Area Studies.​​

 

​​After working in the education field for a year and a half, I realized how a single news story can influence public opinion. Some students were misled by incorrect information and ended up paying the price, such as selling property to study in Canada for permanent residency. My internship at Vancouver Chinese Radio also helped me grow in the journalism industry and gain hands-on experience.

​In 2025, I was honored to be crowned Miss Chinese Vancouver, which gave me an opportunity to serve as a bridge between Western and Eastern cultures. Participation in community service activities during the pageant also allowed me to view news from the perspective of everyday life.

​

After learning Cantonese for years, I maintain a close connection with the local Cantonese community and also seek to further explore Hong Kong’s media and cultural environment.
